The N23D-66043-1 cylinder is approved for replacement of cylinder P/N 66043-1 and 65564-1 from Zodiac/Air Cruisers and cylinder P/N B66043-1 from AmSafe. The N23D cylinder is manufactured to the same DOT specification as the Zodiac/Air Cruisers 66043-1 and 65564-1 cylinders and AmSafe B66043-1 cylinder. The construction is of an aluminum liner, wrapped with impregnated Carbon fibers, and covered with a fiberglass protective layer. The N23D-66043-1 cylinder is eligible for installation into the Zodiac/Air Cruisers Evacuation Slide/Raft on the Boeing aircraft.
